    Rob Mazurek came back with star-studded Exploding Star Orchestra LP "Dimensional Stardust" and shared a new song from that album “A Wrinkle in Time Sets Concentric Circles Reeling”. Following the 2018 JazzFest Berlin debut of new Exploding Star Orchestra (ESO) music, Mazurek returned to Chicago, where International Anthem took the opportunity to capture his new ESO compositions with a cast of collaborators from their collective constellation of artists.     Angel Bat Dawid released two new songs inspired by Total Refreshment Centre. Both new pieces of music are her response to Emma Warren's 2019 book "Make Some Space", about the history of London DIY music institution Total Refreshment Centre. The first track, “Transition East” is a tribute to the recently revived Chicago community centre that served as a base for AACM and icons from the Black Arts Movement in the 1960s.
