Jaga Jazzist returns after 5 years with their new album “Pyramid” on 24 April 2020, where the legendary Norwegian eight-piece band takes a deep dive into post-rock, jazz and psychedelia influences. It’s their first album since 2015’s “Starfire”, their ninth album in a career now spanning four decades, but it marks the group’s debut on Brainfeeder, the LA-based imprint curated by Flying Lotus. Binker & Moses and Basement Jaxx present Village of the Sun: Village of the Sun is the name of a new musical band/project initiated by one-half of legendary electronic dance-music duo Basement Jaxx’s Simon Ratcliffe. Simon invited to collaboration one of the leaders of the new London jazz scene boom – jazz duo Binker and Moses (tenor saxophonist Binker Golding and drummer Moses Boyd). Skip Marley and H.E.R. performed their lover’s rock reggae tune “Slow Down” on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, with help of house band The Roots. The duo released “Slow Down” in January along with a tender music video directed by Lacey Duke.
