    Zara McFarlane shared two new songs “Black Treasure” and “Future Echoes” from her forthcoming album “Songs of Unknown Tongue”. “Black Treasure” is inspired by an exploration of Zara’s Jamaican heritage, especially folk traditions of Bruckins Party, Dinki Mini, and Kumina ritual dances. Her new sound is the culmination of this research and a reflection on how the history of Zara’s ancestors affects her story today. Four years after her critically acclaimed, produced by Moses Boyd, reggae oriented third studio album “Arise”, she changed her musical direction into more heavy electro grooves of producers Kwake Bass and Wu-Lu.     London’s afrobeat sensation KOKOROKO shared a new song called “Carry Me Home”. This beautiful song reminds us of every positive thing from the band’s debut EP. It’s rhythmic, peaceful, harmonic, uplifting, soulful and melodic.
