    Jacob Collier visited NPR Tiny Desk Studio

    Jacob Collier is an English singer, arranger, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in London, England. In 2012, his homemade split-screen video covers of popular songs, such as Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing”, began to go viral on YouTube. He recently visited my favorite concert venue – NPR Tiny Desk Studio, to promote his latest album ‘Djesse vol.2’. “It just feels like such a tremendous, ridiculous honor to sit behind this hallowed desk,” he said.     Nérija – London’s jazz all-star collective – release debut album ‘Blume’

    Nerija features some of the top players in London’s rising jazz scene. Every member of the band has its own side project: Nubya Garcia (Nubiya’s 5ive, Maisha), Sheila Maurice-Grey (Kokoroko), Cassie Kinoshi (SEED Ensemble, Kokoroko), Rosie Turton (Rosie’s 5ive), Shirley Tetteh (Maisha), Lizy Exell (drums) and Rio Kai (SEED Ensemble).
