Alfa Mist and Emmavie added a new song “Energy” to re-released a collaborative album “Epoch". On the album, the pair collaborated with a list of acclaimed contemporaries including Dornik (Odd Future ghostwriter) and bassist Rocco Palladino (son of great Pino Palladino), who recently worked on new Tom Mish and Yussef Dayes album.

“An ‘epoch’ (ee-pock) is a particular period of time in history or a person’s life. Can’t think of a better word to describe how some music takes you back to where you were & what you were doing when you first heard it” Alfa Mist explains the album title.

“Working with Alfa Mist on this EP allowed me to access a more vulnerable and poetic side of myself. Alfa is just incredible and I don’t know what to compare it to but when I listen to these songs, I’m transported back to the moments in my life that inspired these lyrics”, Emmavie commented collaboration.

Alfa Mist announced recently a new project with Richard Spaven called 44th Move. The duo released their debut self-titled EP on 24th April 2020 via Black Acre records. They teased the EP earlier with the song “Move,” featuring Takuya Kuroda. It's actually Alfa Mist third release this year, in February came out his first solo piano EP “On My Ones” via his own Sekito imprint.
