Pianist Maria Chiara Argirò and guitarist Jamie Leeming present the first two singles “Retrograde” and “Kosetsu” from their highly anticipated debut album “Flow”. Combining elements of modern jazz, electronica and contemporary folk music to create an expansive and cinematic sound, they explore a broad range of textures and emotions, ranging from dynamic sections brim-full of movement, pace and excitement, to moments that are more reflective and vulnerable.

Both are familiar names on the London jazz scene; Argirò is involved with a variety of projects including Liran Donin's 1000 Boats, Kinkajous, Teotima and Rosie Turton, as well her own band with whom she released a beautiful album last year called "Hidden Seas". Jamie Leeming is probably best known for his work with Alfa Mist. Together, Argirò and Leeming are a formidable duo.
There is a strong jazz/cinematic feel to "Flow", and the resulting album cleverly retains the individual voice of both musicians, while at the same time creating a beautifully unified sound in which influences that both draw upon can be heard – Radiohead, Aaron Parks, Nils Frahm and Brad Mehldau to name a few.

Maria Chiara Argirò recently shares her another collaboration with Italian drummer and composer Riccardo Chiaberta, Duo is called Moonfish and combines piano, keyboard and synths with drums, bass synth and electronics offering a new perspective on the piano/drums duo possibilities. Their debut single "Drop of Water" features layers of dark electronics, underpinned by a fresh and energetic drum beat drawing on jazz and electronica influences to create a mesmerizing and evocative atmosphere.
