Song of the Day: Adeline – Eternity (Feat. Joshua J)

Just in time for summer, French-Caribbean singer, bassist and producer Adeline has released a sunny new track, Eternity featuring Joshua J, from her forthcoming sophomore EP, to be released in late August. Previous singles include Whisper My Name and her debut performance on A COLORS SHOW, Mystic Lover and 9.

Her new single Eternity is like a golden summer breeze, the kind of feel-good jam that transports you instantly into that wanna-bump-it-in-a car mood, capturing a moment that feels both nostalgic and brimming with excitement for what the weekend will bring.

This is my first single with a rap feature, and I’m so glad to be working with Joshua J on this, notes Adeline of her collaboration with the rising star from the Netherlands. We wrote Eternity about getting caught off guard by love, falling fast, and deciding to flow with it. I hope this record helps listeners stay open to pleasant surprises this summer as the world reopens.

Listen to Adeline new single Eternity featuring Joshua J:

Originally introduced to the world as the frontwoman for the nu-disco band Escort, Adeline spent most of 2020 soothing our frazzled nerves with a constant stream of soulful, heartwarming songs --21 of them in fact, including 2 EPs, a fire hot duet with Kamauu called Mango (the video for which has garnered nearly 5M views) and numerous other collaborations and guest appearances with artists ranging from Pastel, Kraak & Smack and Blue Lab Beats to songwriter Jonathan Singletary and up-and-coming French rapper Lisko.

Adeline has toured globally, sharing the stage with such notables as Anderson. Paak, Lee Fields, Chromeo, Big Freeda and Natalie Prass, as well as making recent appearances at Afropunk, Funk on the Rocks (Red Rocks) and Winter Jazz Fest.
