Anderson Paak visited BBC Live Lounge to cover Lil Nas X's mega-hit 'Old Town Road'

"Old Town Road" still holds the record for the longest-running Number One single of all time in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He managed to turn this semi country semi hip hop song into soulful jazzy He was singing behind his drumkit backed by his usual collaborators The Free Nationals (Jose Rios – guitar, backing vocals, Ron Tnava Avant – keyboards, backing vocals, Kelsey Gonzalez – bass guitar, backing vocals, Callum Connor – DJ, drums, backing vocals).

Later on, he carries on with his own tunes: 'King James' from his latest album 'Ventura' (2019) and classic from 'Malibu' (2016) 'Heart Don't Stand A Chance'.
