Danalogue, Sarathy Korwar, and Alabaster dePlume unite on a new song “Amoeba's Dream” from Danalogue & Sarathy Korwar collaborative debut EP “Equinox”. London-based synthesizer player and producer Dan Leavers aka Danalogue has been astral traveling through multiple sonic dimensions for the past few years, notably, his critically acclaimed work producing and performing in Mercury-nominated trio The Comet is Coming (with Betamax and Shabaka Hutchings) and Soccer96 (with Betamax). Dan with Max Hallett aka Betamax released in June new EP "Tactics" with Alabaster dePlume on vocals.

He also produced for other artists like Snapped Ankles, Lunch Money Life, and Alabaster dePlume, operating out of the legendary studio of the underground, The Total Refreshment Centre.
Danalogue invited Sarathy into his studio, where the duo spent two days over the vernal equinox in 2018 jamming, recording, and sharing their influences from Terry Riley, Sun Ra, Isao Tomita, and Don Cherry. Alabaster dePlume joined on one track.

Alabaster released in February one of the best albums this year “To Cy & Lee: Instrumentals Vol. 1” through International Anthem (Chicago) Lost Map (Eigg) and Total Refreshment Centre (London). It is a compilation of instrumentals, taken from early releases, re-mastered, with new some material. Sarathy Korwar & Dan Leavers, both contributed to this record.

Sarathy Korwar is one of the most original and compelling voices in the UK jazz scene, leading the UPAJ Collective, collaborating with Shabaka Hutchings (The Comet Is Coming), clarinetist Arun Ghosh and producer Hieroglyphic Being, as well as groups Penya and Ill Considered. He has toured with Kamasi Washington, Yussef Kamaal and Moses Boyd.
Korwar’s debut album, “Day To Day”, recorded with the support of the Steve Reid Foundation, was released by Ninja Tune in 2016. In 2018, Gearbox Records released a triple vinyl live album by Sarathy Korwar and UPAJ Collective titled “My East Is Your West”, performed and recorded at a sold-out Church of Sound show. Korwar released his second studio album, “More Arriving”, through The Leaf Label in July 2019. Truly one of the best albums of 2019! He put out two new singles this year with Zia Ahmed "Birthright" and "Turner on the 20".
