Dub maestro Prince Fatty presents vocalist Shniece McMenamin in “Take Me As I Am” from their collaborative effort “Prince Fatty presents Shniece in a Disco Deception”. We could hear her soulful on the previous albums of Prince Fatty, but also other artists like Omar, Mungos Hi-Fi, or The Last Poets or opening for and supporting the likes of Chaka Kahn, Chic & Nile Rodgers, Sister Sledge, Incognito and Aswad.

Prince Fatty is a British sound engineer and record producer, his collaborative efforts span from Blur's Graham Coxon, JD from A Tribe Called Quest, Pharcyde, N'Dea Davenport, Brand New Heavies, Lily Allen, Hollie Cook, Little Roy, Adrian Sherwood/ON-U Sound,  Luciano, Capleton, Nostalgia 77, The Skints and Mungo's Hi-Fi.

The album features covers of Tina Turner, Gwen McRea, Little Willie John, Lyn Collins and Lavern Baker.

“I think it’s working with musicians, as I look at recording everybody live. That’s one thing most people don’t do when they record: when they record, they tend to record one by one, one musician at a time, and layer it like that. Whereas I like to get everybody in a room together and then we just do it. And I think that’s where the good feeling comes from”, Prince Fatty describes.

Prince Fatty recently worked alongside Shniece McMenamin and Horseman in his latest album, "In The Viper's Shadow" which featured a whole host of reggae talent including Cornell Campbell, Tippa Irie, Big Youth, George Dekker, Earl 16, Winston Francis and Marcia Griffiths.

Prince Fatty new EP album “Prince Fatty featuring Shniece in a Disco Deception” will come out via Evergreen Recordings on 19th June 2020.
