From Offie Mag website:

Patterns have just given us the keys to the Jazz Club for a few months so we’re opening up with some Jazz… in Brighton. Having investigated the term in our recently released magazine, ISSUE THREE, we’ve got three local acts that are going from strength to strength in the amazing, ambiguous scene that has been coined ‘UK Jazz.’

Chloe Bodur

Chloe Bodur is the London vocalist that has been learning her trade on these shores and you can expect her to bring relatable, soulful lyrics and vocals, as well as her brilliant band. Having already supported Yazmin Lacey at this venue before, Jazz Club regulars will already be acquainted with Chloe, but expect new material from her forthcoming EP.

Yadasofi

Yadasofi are the energetic Brightonian jazz outfit that have shared stages with the likes of Joe Armon-Jones and Nubya Garcia already this year. With ambitious soundscapes spanning across Afrobeat, Latin and Middle Eastern jazz, their debut EP Negev made Offie Mag’s Music of the Month back in May and has been on rotation ever since.

Ebi Soda

Finally, Ebi Soda will grace this Jazz Club with their presence. Known for their sometimes erratic drums and colourful sound, they are one of the most original bands in the country. Inspired by both the bleakness and beauty of modern Britain, the septep sit happily on the outskirts of London’s trendy ‘UK Jazz’ scene where their often gritty, anti-traditional sound is most at home.
