Jorja Smith's cover of St. Germain song “Rose Rouge” is a leading single from the new album “Blue Note Re:Imagined”. This compilation contains a number of top young British musicians covering tracks from the phenomenal back catalog of iconic jazz label Blue Note Records.
“Rose Rouge” was originally released in 2000 by French musician Ludovic Navarre aka St. Germain on his album “Tourist”, and used a sample from Marlena Shaw's “Cookin With Blue Note At Montreux”.
Jorja recently released the jazz-infused song “Kiss Me in the Morning” for Netflix’s musical drama "The Eddy".
