Fresh Sounds: Alex Bone feat. Nile Rodgers - In Dream

Saxophonist, composer and producer Alex Bone presents his single In Dream featuring the legendary Nile Rodgers, lifted from his debut album Falling On Infinity planned for early May 2021.

Blending electronic music and jazz with a whimsical pop sensibility, Alexander's sound strikes a delicate balance between the electronic and the organic, the danceable and the downtempo. 'In Dream' epitomises the former, an infectious groove full of harmonic richness and virtuoso solos by both Alexander and Nile, yet exudes the love for a powerful and direct dance tune.

"I met Nile at RAK studios in 2014 and had the incredible opportunity to work on music on a session there. We got on well and kept in touch so when I started writing for this album, I sent him a tune on the off-chance he would want to play on it. A few days later, his guitar stems were in my inbox. An absolutely surreal experience!" says Alexander.
